On our recent Melbourne escape, the NLM Events crew snuck away to a place we’d heard whispers about—Between Friends—and let’s just say, it more than lived up to the rumours.

This stylish lifestyle bar and play party, hosted by the fabulous duo Matt & The Mistress, is an absolute must if you like your weekends with a little spice, a lot of sparkle, and just the right amount of kink.

From the moment we walked through the doors, we were met with a warm welcome from Matt & The Mistress, and a cool crowd—genuine, respectful, sexy people who know how to have fun while keeping it classy. The vibe? Think flirty cocktail bar meets seductive playground. Consent is queen (and king), and “no” is always respected without question.

Upstairs? Oh yes, there’s an upstairs—and it’s clean, well-designed, and perfect for letting your curiosity run a little wild (or a lot, no judgment here).

Between Friends is easy to find but hard to leave. The hosts, Matt & The Mistress, have crafted a space that feels like the lifestyle should: inclusive, inviting, and just the right amount of naughty.

What is included with entry

• Entry to the venue until closing time, access to all general areas, a secure locker, towels, condoms and lube, and of course great company!
• General areas include the downstairs wine bar, dressing room, bathrooms, open play spaces, swing room, massage stations, private rooms, plus a few extra surprises…
• You have the option to purchase drinks and food from the bar.

• Single ladies $20
  • A female presenting person​

*Lockers: There are three options for locking them – bring your own lock from home, buy one from the bar for $10 cash/EFT, or borrow one from the bar with a $20 refundable CASH deposit.
