New to Melbourne is a fantastic new venue that has to be on your “must visit” list.
Pineapples Lifestyle bar is a fresh, classy and cool venue that is sure to be a valued addition to the Melbourne lifestyle community.
Open-minded friends who want to broaden our horizons and enjoy new experiences ā just like you.
Your friendly and welcoming hosts, their approachable staff and the many fun-loving community leaders who regularly attend our events enjoy providing the most inclusive, sensual and free-spirited experience possible for curious first-timers and seasoned veterans alike. Let us know if you are booking your first visit with us and we will happily give you a tour of the venue and answer any questions you have early in the night so you feel as comfortable as possible.
Our purpose-built venue has an industry leading layout, furnishings and event schedule, designed to elevate hedonistic events to a never before seen level of sophistication, arousal and titillation.
You will find our various theme nights, selection of stage performances, multiple open spaces and private rooms on offer ensure each of your visits is different, adding excitement and lasting enjoyment to your night. You will be glowing for days after your visit.
Our thorough screening, couching and unique introduction process ensures only the most respectful, consent-focused and diversely inclusive people attend our events. We have zero tolerance for drugs, excessive drinking, rude, obnoxious or overly intoxicated behaviour, ensuring our growing community feels comfortable being themselves and are eager to return.
Before you are able to purchase tickets to your first event, you will need to apply to become a member of our vetted, consent-focused community. Do this by visiting our member area, or attempt to purchase a ticket to one of our events. A manager will contact you in the following days to go over our behavioural expectations and code of conduct.
Upon arrival to your event, you will be greeted at the front door by our crowd controllers. Please present your ticket to them on an electronic device or printed on plain paper. If you have a valid ticket, you will be asked to present it along with your government issued physical or digital photo ID to the greeter located in our reception foyer.
After a staff member confirms your ticket and identity, they will answer any questions you have and offer you to wear a black wristband if you do not want to be approached by other guests in a physical or intimate way. We ask that you please make people wearing this wristband feel welcome by socialising with them in our ground floor bar area. But please do not ask to elevate your connection with them in physical or intimate ways.
If you have arrived early enough, we may offer you a tour of our venue and complimentary glass of champagne.
From here you may accept a locker key, proceed to the change room to secure your belongings and change into something more comfortable if you feel like it.
Depending on which night you are attending, the next room, our main ground floor area, may contain a stage, tables and chairs for our Thursday night vaudeville show, or Friday night social/mingle vibe; or a DJ booth and open dance floor for our Saturday nightclub/rave setup. Be sure to check your ticket for what to expect.
Early in the night, the ground floor functions very much like vanilla venues you may have attended before. However, as the night progresses, you may find people shedding their clothing slowly (and sometimes quickly) down to their underwear. We ask that you wear a bottom undergarment in this area at all times and keep erotic acts for the first floor.
Speaking of the first floor, unless accompanied by a Pineapples staff member, you are required to dress down to lingerie, underwear, hot pants, a G-string and bra, one of the towels provided, or your bare skin. Full length pants and dresses, regular street t-shirts, jumpers, etc must be removed to promote a sexy vibe and so that everyone feels comfortable showing their beautiful skin. We encourage everyone to venture upstairs at some point in the night. The earlier the better if you are the shy type. You may also ask a staff member to accompany you through this area for a short while on quieter nights.
Once you get upstairs, you will be greeted by low level lighting, sensual music and a sexy, free-spirited vibe where just about anything is possible provided everyone involved gives their consent. You will find open play areas as well as more discreet private rooms containing draper ottomans, armless padded chairs, bench seats, tables, love seats, leather bean bags and anything else we find people like to get comfy on together.
We ask that you confirm that everyone in a private room is comfortable with you closing the door before doing so. Anyone wishing to leave any room may do so at any time without needing to explain their reason. And keep in mind that a staff member may open the door of any room without notice if they feel it is needed to ensure the comfort and safety of guests.
Please do not attempt to open closed doors or knock on them. This can be annoying and distracting. If you feel a room with a closed door is empty, advise one of our staff members who regularly attend the area.
Also contained on the first floor are multiple unisex toilets, a wash basin, a communal shower, a filtered water fountain, refresh stations containing clean towels, deodorant, chewies, mints, womenās sanitary items, sexual facilitators like condoms, lube, massage oil, waste bins, linen baskets and the exclusive VIP area available for private hire.
We hope you enjoy your visit and invite you to provide any feedback you have to our staff members on duty, or utilise our contact us form.

Dress Code
The best way to make new friends and foster a connection is to dress to impress, because itās true what they say; first impressions count! Think about what youād wear on a sexy first date, something that makes you feel good about yourself, and lets your confidence radiate effortlessly, and your personality shine through; this general rule of thumb can be applied to most nights at Pineapples.
Our website also features images that reflect our dress code, providing outfit inspiration for a range of occasions or events: these include crisp shirts, tailored trousers and jackets, cocktail dresses, full suits with ties, and polished leather shoes or sleek dark sneakers. If ever in doubt, you can always reach out to us, weāll be happy to guide you.
While we encourage you to embrace our theme nights by dressing in line with the event guidelines, itās not mandatory, as long as you meet the venue dress code standards. In saying that, joining in and dressing to theme ā even if it feels silly at first ā can help you feel part of the atmosphere and fully enjoy the spirit of each night; itās also a fabulous conversation starter!
Clothing not permitted outside of specific theme nights includes ripped or torn garments; work uniforms; gym gear; army camo; onesies; cosplay; swimwear; sleeveless tank tops; offensive t-shirts; light blue denim, tie-dye, or acid-wash materials; Crocs, sandals, UGG boots, thongs, moccasins, or dirty sneakers. If youāre unsure whether your outfit meets the requirements, itās best to dress up rather than down, or to check with us beforehand.

Behaviour
We ask that you treat our staff, performers, and fellow guests with the courtesy and respect they deserve at all times. Communicate inclusively and considerately; hate speech, racial slurs, insults, and hurtful innuendos are never acceptable.
Itās important to remember that interest or attraction is not always mutual. Persistently seeking the attention of someone who has indicated they are not interested is unacceptable. No means no; respect their boundaries and explore other areas of the venue.
With consent from everyone in the room, you may close private room doors; however, we ask that you leave the door open when you depart so other guests know the space is available. Please do not open, or knock on, closed doors. Have respect for the privacy of those inside.
Smoking and vaping is also not allowed inside any part of the building. Instead, you may ask a staff member for a pass out to partake in these things outside.

Consent is Mandatory
Seeking and giving consent is a core principle we promote at Pineapples, and we expect all guests to follow this without question. This applies when spending time with new friends, reconnecting with people you havenāt seen in a while, or exploring new experiences with anyone.
Never assume you have someoneās consent, even if youāve had previous experiences with them. Use simple, respectful questions such as: āWould you like me toā¦?ā, āIs it okay if Iā¦?ā, āHow would you feel if Iā¦?ā, or āI would like toā¦ā. Pay attention not only to their words but also their body language. If they seem uncomfortable or hesitant, itās best to err on the side of caution.
Considerate partners give their playmates time to consider their decisions, respond in their own way, and respect a ānoā under any circumstance. Consent can be verbal or non-verbal, but it is never implied. Clear ways to show consent include saying āYes, please!ā, āThat would be great,ā initiating the activity yourself, or giving an affirmative nod.
āNo thank you,ā āI donāt feel like it,ā stepping away, or shaking your head are all clear ways to indicate you do not wish to continue. No one is ever obligated to engage, and you may change your mind at any time; remember, your decision is final.
Whether youāre new to the lifestyle, returning after a break, or youāre experienced at other venues, but unfamiliar with our expectations, we encourage you to speak with our attentive staff to ensure clarity and comfort.

Photography
Close-up photos and selfies with people you know are permitted in the downstairs area, provided you have permission from all parties and that no one else is visible, including performers, staff, or anyone you do not know.
We may request to review photos or videos taken at our venue to ensure they comply with these guidelines. If you are not comfortable with this, we recommend refraining from using your phone for these features. You may be asked to delete any content containing individuals who have not given their consent to be photographed or recorded.

Responsible Drinking
We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone arriving intoxicated. While we monitor the number of drinks served to each guest, it is your responsibility to ensure your alcohol consumption remains within your limits. If we feel you are becoming disorderly, we will only serve water, soft drinks, or food, and may ask you to leave if you behave abusively or disruptively toward other guests or our staff.
Alcohol may not be brought into the venue. Our prices are reasonable, our selection excellent, and purchasing from us supports our staff, covers operating costs, funds improvements, and keeps the lights on, even if theyāre intentionally low!
We strongly advise that you practice safe drinking habits at all events, including ours. Be sure to:
Know what you are drinking and how it affects you
Stay within the limits of what makes you feel good while remaining in control of yourself and your wellbeing
Be aware of sudden changes in how you are thinking or feeling
Take a break from consuming alcohol. Drink soft drink, juice, or water, or have a bite to eat instead
Do not accept open drinks from people you donāt know
Keep your drink close to you at all times
Check in with your friends, especially if they look confused, ill, or out of control.
Step up and alert staff to anyone you feel may be overly intoxicated or drug affected.
Report any concerns you have to our staff asap on the night so we can address potential issues promptly and thoroughly.

Lockout Time
We ask that you arrive before the lockout time specified on your event to give everyone the chance to connect with other guests and fully enjoy the eveningās atmosphere.
While we understand that unplanned delays can happen, we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone arriving after the advertised lockout time, even if a ticket has been purchased.
Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Expectation Breaches
We ask that you report any policy breaches to our staff as soon as they occur so we can address the issue during the event. Feel free to contact us after the event in person, via phone or email if you have no choice, but please keep in mind our ability to resolve the issue and disciplining the offender may be limited depending on how much time has passed.
You may be refused entry, or asked to leave without a refund if you breach these expectations. Severe offences may be reported to the police whom we will give the personal details you provided during the vetting process and your visit.
Play by the rules and you will have an amazing time with us. Break them and you will miss out.
